Elementary Special Education Teacher–District wide
Grand Island Public Schools–Elementary Special Education teacher to work with students on IEP’s in grades K-5.
– Knowledge of Special Education principles, theories, testing, methods, etc. as well as proven methods of maximizing the educational experience of students with special needs.
– Knowledge of differentiated instruction based upon student learning styles.
– Knowledge of data information systems, data analysis and the formulation of action plans.
– Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws regarding education and students.

Salary range– $41,000-$82,000 (depending on experience and degree level)
State date–August 5, 2024
Hiring Bonus–$1000 year 1 and year 2
Retention Bonus–$3000 (beginning of year 4)
