Agriculture Teacher/FFA Sponsor
Giltner Public Schools is seeking a Agriculture Teacher/FFA Sponsor for the 2026–2027 school year. This position includes teaching agriculture courses and leading a strong, growing FFA program within a small, supportive school and community.
Giltner has made a deep investment in its agriculture program, with strong enthusiasm and support from both students and the community. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build on this momentum while making the program their own, guided by their passions and the agricultural interests of our students.
Position Responsibilities Include:

Teaching secondary agriculture education courses

Advising and supporting an active FFA chapter

Engaging with community partners and promoting agricultural education
Qualifications:

Valid Nebraska teaching certificate with Agriculture Education endorsement or the ability to obtain certification
-
Student teachers and candidates pursuing alternative certification are encouraged to apply

Strong interest in student leadership development and FFA involvement
-
Willingness to be involved in school and community activities
-
Candidates with Industrial Technology certification are also encouraged to apply if willing to obtain Agriculture Education certification.
