Elementary Teacher
Gibbon Public Schools is seeking applicants for the 2027-2028 school year for an emelentary teacher. The preferred candidate will hold a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in K-6 Elementary. Gibbon is located 13 miles east of Kearney, Ne with approx 560 students prek-12 with excellent facilities and exceptional staff. Come join our FAMILY at GPS!!
Coachang and extra duty positions may be avaialble, but not required for this position.

Salary schedule for 2027-2028 is not determined, our current salary schedule is $41,400-$81.144 including full family health/employee dental, a $40,000 life insurance policy, LTD, sick (6) days, personal leave(6) daysand NPERs retirement. Additional benefits available are vision, 403(b), dependent life, HSA and Flex Plan. GPS accepts all years of experience and educational advancement up to MA+36 on the salary schedule. This is a 185 day contracted position expected to begin around August 5, 2027.
