7-12 Skilled and Technical Sciences Teacher

Gibbon Public Schools is seeking applicants for the 2025-2026 school year in the field of 7-12 Skilled and Technical Sciences.  The preferred candidate will hold a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in 7-12 Skilled and Technical Sciences.  The current program includes coursework in woods, welding, power equipment and production technology. Gibbon is located 13 miles east of Kearney, Ne with approx 575 students prek-12 with excellent facilities and exceptional staff. Come join our FAMILY at GPS!! Additional Information

Salary schedule for 2025-2026 is $40,200-$80,802 including full family health/employee dental, a $40,000 life insurance policy, LTD, sick (6) days, personal leave(6) daysand NPERs retirement.  Additional benefits available are vision, 403(b), dependent life, HSA and Flex Plan.  GPS accepts all years of experience and educational advancement up to MA+36 on the salary schedule.  This is a 185 day contracted position expected to begin around August 11, 2025.
