Special Education Paraprofessional – Young Adult Program at the Pioneer Learning Center (PLC).
The Pioneer Learning Center (PLC) Young Adult Program serves transition-aged students (18 to 21 years old) as they develop independent living and work skills. The Pioneer Learning Center is a separate building in Fort Calhoun that houses both the alternative high school and young adult programs with a high teacher-to-student ratio. Job requirements for this position include aiding with transportation between student work sites and the PLC, supporting student learning in daily living and job skills, and participating in regular community outings to practice learned skills. Hours are 8:00-3:30 Monday through Thursday and 8:00-1:30 on Fridays. Subject to a Veterans Preference. EOE
