Distance Learning/Network Operations Coordinator

Educational Service Unit 16 is in search of a technology specialist to serve in its Network Operations Department.  The position will be centered in the North Platte ESU 16 office and will require the ability to drive to outlying districts in southwest Nebraska.  Employment requires a background in support of technological systems, programs, and networks and will include implementation, configuration, updating, and maintenance of Distance Learning systems and components.  A background in video conferencing is preferred, but training can be provided for a qualified applicant.

This position will include office duties and logistical support.

Minimum requirements include: Associate’s degree or higher and/or experience in a technology-related field, personal transportation and a valid driver’s license, remote troubleshooting ability with strong oral and written skills, and the ability to carry, load, and install equipment.

ESU 16 Network Operations personnel are contracted to work 220 days throughout the year.  ESU 16 offers a competitive salary and an employee/family benefits package.  This application is open until filled.
