Licensed Mental Health Practitioner
This is a position a number of our member district superintendents have requested the ESU seek to fill to address the mental health needs of their struggling students. A MS degree in a human services related field and valid and current certification in the area of LMHP is required.
Primary duties include intake assessments, developing referral procedures for school staff, counseling with students, maintaining regular contact the parent/guardian of each student, participating in meetings as necessary, and provides school staff with appropriate training/consultation.
