Essential Functions of Position:

  1. Work with children ages birth through 21 in school districts.
  2. Administer and interpret assessments and rating scales to support eligibility and programming decisions for children birth-21.
  3. Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate the completion of reports.
  4. Serve on IEP teams for select students.
  5. Conduct or collaborate to complete functional behavior assessments and behavior interventions plans.
  6. Collaborate with parents, problem solving team, and outside agencies on student social emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
  7. Conduct trainings and consult with districts across ESU 10.
  8. Support schools with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to make individual student, class, and district decisions.
  9. Collaborate with Teaching and Learning Department to align initiatives and support school districts.
  10. Support school districts in their Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) implementation.
  11. Support and mentor future professionals.
  12. Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
  13. Willing to travel.
  14. Other duties as assigned.
  15. Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
