Essential Functions of Position:
- Work with children ages birth through 21 in school districts.
- Administer and interpret assessments and rating scales to support eligibility and programming decisions for children birth-21.
- Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and coordinate the completion of reports.
- Serve on IEP teams for select students.
- Conduct or collaborate to complete functional behavior assessments and behavior interventions plans.
- Collaborate with parents, problem solving team, and outside agencies on student social emotional, behavioral, and academic concerns.
- Conduct trainings and consult with districts across ESU 10.
- Support schools with gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to make individual student, class, and district decisions.
- Collaborate with Teaching and Learning Department to align initiatives and support school districts.
- Support school districts in their Continuous Improvement Plan (CIP), Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and Targeted Improvement Plan (TIP) implementation.
- Support and mentor future professionals.
- Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative working relationships with others.
- Willing to travel.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Regular and dependable attendance is an essential function of this position.
