Elgin Public Schools – MTSS Coordinator
Elgin Public Schools is currently accepting applications for a Full-Time MTSS Coordinator beginning with the 2026-2027 school year. The responsibilities that accompany this position but is not an all inclusive list:
- Coordinating the district’s Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Analyzing student achievement and behavioral data
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and intervention staff
- Monitoring interventions and student progress
- Facilitating MTSS team meetings and professional development
The following are the qualifications for this position:
- Valid Nebraska teaching certificate required
- Administrative endorsement is preferred, but not required
- Experience with MTSS, data analysis, intervention programs, and school improvement processes preferred
Elgin Public Schools is a progressive school district that has a 1:1 technology program in grades PK-12. Elgin is located 40 miles west of Norfolk on Highway 14 and is an Equal Opportunity Employer. This position is also veteran preferred.

The starting salary for the 2026-2027 school year is $42,550 and we offer full family insurance, single, insurance, retirement, and short and long term disability.
