Speech Department Coordinator

Educational Service Unit 8 is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to serve as the Speech Department Coordinator for the 26-27 school year.  The Department Coordinator will assist SLPs  in maintaining quality services to children while meeting NDE requirements for completing evaluations and paperwork. The coordinator will hold weekly Zoom check in meetings with 3 teletherapists.  He/She will be responsible for scheduling and leading monthly meetings with ESU 8 speech staff.  The coordinator will also represent the speech department at quarterly SPED Steering Committee meetings. The coordinator duties will be 2 days per week.

On the other 3 days, the department coordinator will maintain a caseload in a school district providing speech therapy to children from birth to age 21.

This is a full time position.

Candidates must have good communication skills.  They must be willing to work with children, parents, teachers, and administrators.
