Speech Language Pathologist

ESU #2 is seeking a passionate and dedicated  Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment & Diagnosis: Screen, evaluate, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders (including expressive/receptive language, social pragmatics, and voice)

  • IEP Development: Develop and implement individualized goals for Students with Disabilities, ensuring they are aligned with state standards and the student’s functional needs

  • Direct Therapy: Provide evidence-based intervention in various settings, including one-on-one sessions, small groups, and push-in classroom support

  • Compliance: Maintain timely and accurate records for Medicaid billing, progress reports, and annual IEP meetings.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Education: Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program

  • Certification: Nebraska Department of Education Teaching Certificate with SLP Endorsement

  • Certification: Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services licensure 

  • Maintain confidentiality regarding school and student information, including sensitive matters and administrative decisions

  • Respect the dignity and self-worth of all students and coworkers

  • Serve as a positive role model for appropriate personal interactions and communication
