Elementary Teacher

Teacher Vacancy Grades 3-5

Educational Service Unit #2 is accepting applications for a full-time Grades 3-5 teacher to work at ESU 2 Independent School. ESU 2 Independent School is a K-12 school serving students in an alternative, specialized setting. We are located 2 miles North of Fremont, Nebraska on Highway 77. We offer a competitive wage and paid family insurance. 

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher to join our team. You will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, developing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and collaborating with staff and parents while following specific incentivized procedures to help students attain habits that will lead to a successful academic journey.

Responsibilities:

Create curriculum and lesson plans.

Provide instruction to students in grade-level groups to better support their learning needs.

Assign work, projects, and tests.

Evaluate student progress and provide progress reports.

Maintain and manage the classroom environment.

Learn and implement our specific expectations, including the point card system

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in education or related subject.

State-issued teaching certification.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
