Service Provider – Title I, Part C (Migrant Education Program)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and energetic Title I, Part C Service Provider to join our Migrant Education team. In this role, you will work directly with migratory students and their families to help eliminate educational disruptions caused by frequent moves. You will empower students to achieve academic success, foster strong family-school connections, and connect families with vital community resources.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct Student Support: Provide supplemental educational support, academic interventions, and life-skills/graduation guidance to K–12 migrant students and Out-of-School Youth (OSY).

• Family Engagement & Outreach: Conduct home visits, facilitate family-school communication, and assist parents in navigating school systems and community support services.

• Interpretation & Translation: Provide bilingual (Spanish/English) communication support during home visits, meetings, and program events.

• Needs Assessment & Identification: Assist in identifying student academic, social, and basic needs, connecting families to healthcare, food, and social service agencies.

• Travel & Home Visits: Travel regularly within the service region to meet with students and families in their homes, schools, or community settings.

Qualifications & Requirements 

• Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in both Spanish and English (spoken, read, and written).

• Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable personal transportation, and proof of current auto insurance (federal mileage reimbursement provided).

• Passion & Motivation: A strong desire to advocate for, mentor, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of culturally diverse students and families.

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, Human Services, or related field preferred. Experience working with English Learners or migrant/rural populations is a plus.

• Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, organization, and problem-solving skills.
