Head Junior High Girls Wrestling Coach
COACHING POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
Junior High — Girls Wrestling
Head Junior High Girls Wrestling Coach
ABOUT THE D-T WRESTLING PROGRAM
Doniphan-Trumbull wrestling has established itself as one of the premier Class C programs in Nebraska. In 2024, the Cardinals made program history by producing their first-ever state champions — Dakota Gibson (132 lbs) and Tycen Breckner (285 lbs) — at the CHI Health Center in Omaha. The program has grown from 14 to 23+ wrestlers in recent seasons and continues to build at all levels, including a rapidly expanding girls’ wrestling program that grew from one competitor to seven in a single year.
Head Coach Andrew Smith leads a dedicated staff committed to developing the whole athlete. D-T also hosts the annual “Rumble in Trumbull” dual invitational, reflecting the program’s growing profile in the region. This is a program on the rise, and we are looking for coaches who want to be part of it.
