Counselor – Gross Catholic
Duties and Responsibilities
Gross Catholic is searching for a High School Counselor. Successful candidates must be able to assist students with academic schedules, support students’ social/emotional needs, and work with students to plan for their future.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Commitment to the mission of Gross Catholic High School

Strong rapport with students, parents, teachers, and staff

Counsel students to fully develop each student’s academic, career, personal and social abilities

Help host events such as, but not limited to, freshmen parent information nights, back to school night, open house, career day and Pre-ACT testing day.

Openness to participate in a student-centered, family- and faith-oriented community

Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities, coaching, or moderating clubs and activities
Grades
9–12Additional Information
Education and Experience

A master’s degree in school counseling with Nebraska certification or the ability to obtain the appropriate certification by August 1st, 2024

Experience in high school counseling is preferred, but not required
