Speech Language Pathologist

Columbus Public School District is hiring three Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2025 spring semester (January).  The Speech Pathologist will work collaboratively to achieve students’ self-esteem and learning while integrating leadership, technology, and communication into the curriculum. The Speech Pathologist works closely with the classroom teacher and the parent(s) to enhance the student’s progress. The SLP engages in professional growth activities through an ongoing program of job-related knowledge and skill development. This individual will exhibit skills pertinent to fostering positive human relationships and the ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, and the community.

Additional Information

  • Base salary for 2024-2025 school year starting at $48,240/year + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).
  • $2,500 signing bonus.
  • All years of experience may be granted.
  • Extended duty compensation
  • CEUs accepted for salary schedule movement after employment.
  • Must hold a NE Teaching Certificate with the proper endorsement.
  • Start date January 3, 2025.

 

These are related to programs covered under Title 92, Chapter 51 of the Nebraska Department of Education.  Programs funded by Federal Grant funds may have additional requirements.
