Special Education Teacher

Columbus Middle School is currently hiring a Special Education teacher for the 2023-2024 school year. The instructor will provide accommodations that can be implemented during services and collaborate with the general education teachers. The teacher will develop students’ cognitive, emotional and social capacities for learning while establishing a cooperative relationship with all assigned students. The educator will also maintain open lines of communication with parents, guardians and staff.

Additional Information

Salary is determined by years of experience and education. 

Base salary for 2023-2024 school year starting at $39,100 + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).

Up to 7 years of experience and all degree work accepted for placement.

Starting August 4, 2023.
