PK-12 Literacy Coach

Columbus Public School is hiring a PK-12 Literacy Coach for the 2026-27 school year. The PK–12 Literacy Coach provides school-based instructional coaching and professional learning support to PreK–12 classroom teachers with the goal of improving evidence-based literacy instruction aligned to the Science of Reading and Nebraska English Language Arts Standards. Working in partnership with building principals, the Director of Teaching and Learning, and the Teaching and Learning team, the Literacy Coach uses a systematic coaching model to strengthen core instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening across all grade levels. This position serves as both a consultant and collaborator to ensure every student builds a strong foundation in literacy through effective instruction, intervention, and continuous improvement.
