Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
Columbus Public School District is currently hiring an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The teacher will work closely with team members to evaluate and serve children and families. The instructor will establish relationships with assigned families while also collaborating with community agencies. The educator will coach families/caregivers to increase their confidence and competence in facilitating their child’s learning and development through daily routines. The teacher will also work with and understand a diverse student population.

Salary is determined by years of experience and education.
Base salary for 2024-2025 school year starting at $40,200/year + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).
- Up to a $2,500 signing bonus. Bonus tied to hard-to-fill designation.
- All years of experience may be granted if deemed a hard-to-fill position.
- Stipend for additional caseload (proposed).
- Must hold a NE Teaching Certificate with the proper endorsement.
