Columbus Public Middle School is currently hiring an Alternative Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  Columbus Public Middle School is currently hiring an Alternative Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.  The instructor will be able to teach middle school students and assist with the development of student academic and social skills.  The teacher will work collaboratively with both alternative program and regular program staff and administrators.  The educator will help design alternative programming options for students that align with district curriculum. The teacher also manages and instructs through online learning platforms.

Additional Information

Salary is determined by years of experience and education. 

Base salary for 2024-2025 school year starting at $40,200/year + $12,000 Cash Stipend ($1000/month to be used for purchase of health/dental insurance or may be taken as cash).

Up to 7 years of experience and all degree work accepted for placement.

$1000 Sign-on bonus.
