Elementary Music Educator

Focus on fostering a love for music in our youngest learners.

  • Curriculum: Lead general music classes for elementary students, focusing on vocal development, rhythm, movement, and music theory basics.
  • Performance: Direct elementary-level seasonal programs and school events.
  • Goal: To instill confidence and a strong musical foundation that prepares students for secondary-level participation.

What We Are Looking For

  • Certification: Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the appropriate K-12 Music endorsement or willing to obtain. Student teachers are encouraged to apply. Will consider filling the position with a long term substitute until we find the right candidate.
  • Expertise: Deep knowledge of your chosen specialty (either vocal/general pedagogy or secondary instrumental techniques).
  • Passion: A commitment to building an inclusive, high-energy environment where all students can succeed.
  • Collaboration: A desire to work closely with district staff to ensure a seamless and robust K-12 music experience.
