Elementary
Conestoga Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for a Primary (Early Elementary) Teacher position for the 2026–27 school year. Grade-level assignment may be aligned with the individual candidate’s skills, interests, and strengths. Conestoga Public Schools is a rural K–12 district located approximately 20 minutes south of Omaha and 45 minutes east of Lincoln, Nebraska. The district emphasizes collaborative Professional Learning Communities, a positive school culture, and community engagement.
Qualified candidates must hold a valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (Elementary PK–6 preferred), demonstrate a passion for early learning and child development, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, and have a commitment to student success and continuous improvement. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Professional Learning Communities and PBIS practices, as well as those who can differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.

Base Salary for 26-27 is $42,550 on a 4X4 schedule. BC/BS health insurance, dental, life, and LTD options, personal/professional leave and sick time, as well as opportunities for coaching and other extracurricular involvement.
Contract is for 165 days (Conestoga is on a 4 day week schedule). Contract beginning the middle of August and ending approx. the middle of May.
