Position Description

• The robotics team assistant coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in supervising and training students for competitions in grades 7-12.

• Stays informed on rules, procedures, and judging standards with VEX Robotics.

• Meets with students on a regular basis during the school year.

• Apply knowledge of skills and techniques to assist students in reaching their fullest potential.

• Assists Head Coach with student/judge entry and supervises teams at weekend and evening tournaments.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in robotics as a participant and/or coach.

• Possess knowledge to train and have a passion for working with students
