Librarian/Technology Integration
A librarian/technology integration position is open for the 2024-25 school year. The position will be responsible for aspects of facilitating the library with book checkout, book inventories, school book fairs, book challenges, and all other duties of a school librarian. Applicants will need to be able to integrate technology into classrooms, with 1:1 iPads, MacBooks, Schoology, IXL, Google, and Securely, attend LAN manager meetings, and assist in technology repairs. The library is updated and has the feel of a 21st-century library It also has a newly renovated STEM lab attached next to it. Extra-duty assignments are available. Applicants need to complete a BCS employment application. All applicants need to possess or be eligible for the appropriate Nebraska certification through NDE.

Bertrand Community School has a stable enrollment of 240 students located in Central Nebraska near the communities of Kearney, Holdrege, and Lexington as well as Johnson Lake and Harlan County Reservoir. Bertrand is a one-to-one school district with technology in iPads.
