This position includes a $3,000 signing bonus!  Bayard Public Schools is seeking a dynamic and collaborative 7–12 Math Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate is a student-centered educator who is committed to fostering a positive and supportive school culture and building strong relationships with students and colleagues.

All 6–12 math endorsements will be considered. The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction that encourages critical thinking, inquiry, and active student participation. This position is well-suited for an educator who values teamwork, contributes positively to a collaborative learning environment, and is eager to make a meaningful impact on student growth and success.

Additional Information

Competitive salary based on experience and education. 2026-27 base salary $39,300.

The anticipated start date for this position is on or about August 1, 2026, with a 185-day contract. Bayard Public Schools offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience and education.

Benefits include:

  • Participation in the Nebraska Public Employees Retirement System (NPERS)

  • One-time residency incentive payment of $1,500 for teachers in their first year of employment who reside within the Bayard Public Schools district boundaries for the full first year of employment

  • Extra duty assignments are available, but not a requirement.
