Special Education – Elementary
Due to retirement, Ainsworth Community Schools is seeking applicants for an elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2027-28 school year. This position is currently lower elementary, but adjustments can be made to focus on strengths for the right candidate.
Ainsworth is a Class D/C sized district with 380 students pre-12. The district benefits from a supportive community and a collaborative board of education that believes investing in our children’s education is essential.

The current base salary for 2026-27 is $41,500, and the benefits package is excellent. The start date will be on or around August 10th.
In addition, coaching positions are available, including Head Girls Wrestling. Coaching is not required with this position, but willingness to take on extra duty is a plus.
