Elementary PE – anticipated January 2027
Due to personal/professional advancement, Ainsworth Community Schools is seeking applicants for an elementary Physical Education Teacher with a preferred start date of January 4, 2027. We are also interested in working with the right candidate if the start date needs to be August 2027. This position is currently elementary with 2 classes of 7th-8th graders, but adjustments can be made to focus on strengths for the right candidate.
Ainsworth is a Class D/C sized district with 380 students pre-12. The district benefits from a supportive community and a collaborative board of education that believes investing in our children’s education is essential.

The current base salary for 2026-27 is $41,500, and the benefits package is excellent. The start date will be January 4, 2027. However, candidates who would prefer starting in August of 2027 are encouraged to apply as well.
In addition, coaching positions are available, including Head Girls Wrestling. We are willing to work with the right PE candidate to place them in coaching positions that match their preferences and strengths.
