7-12 English Teacher
Elba Public Schools is seeking a 7–12 English Language Arts Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. This position includes teaching middle and high school English courses in a small, supportive school community where strong relationships and individualized instruction are priorities.
This is a great opportunity for:

Licensed English or Language Arts teachers, or
-
Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism, or a related field who have a desire to transition into the teaching profession.
Elba Public Schools welcomes candidates who may not yet hold a Nebraska teaching certificate but are interested in pursuing certification. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree who are hired may be eligible for tuition reimbursement to assist with coursework and expenses required to obtain a Nebraska teaching certificate.
