Varsity and Jr. High Football and Basketball Coach
Axtell Community School is looking for multiple coaches for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for 2 assistant varsity football coaches and 1 jr. high football coach for the fall season of 2026.
We are also looking for head boys varsity basketball and 1 junior high boys coach.
We currently have no teaching positions open and are willing to consider different options for employment such as para educator or individuals outside of the school system.

7–12Additional Information
Coaching salaries are based on the school district extra duty schedule which is in relation to our $42,100 base salary for 1st year teachers. Varsity assistant football coaches start $$2,472 for a 1st year coach. Seven years of experience will be accepted.
Head boys varsity basketball starts at $3,708. Eight years of experience will be accepted and all extra duty coaches move higher on the pay scale annually.
