UPPER ELEMENTARY/MIDDLE SCHOOL (DEPARTMENTALIZED)
Stapleton Public Schools is seeking applicants for Upper Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year. SPS is seeking applicants who will contribute to the professional knowledge of the school, while maintaining a student-centered classroom. SPS offers small class sizes, and a professional environment devoted to supporting teachers with their unique professional needs. Middle School Endorsed Teachers are encouraged to apply. SPS teachers enjoy 15 days of discretionary leave per year, early school release on Fridays, and a transfer of all years of service. The school system is located 27 miles north of North Platte, Nebraska.

New hires begin on step 3 of the salary schedule ($43,200). Instructors enjoy excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, long-term disability, and an HSA account option. Extra Duty assignments are available but not required with this position.
