Due to retirement – West Holt Public School is currently accepting applications for a Junior High or High School Science Teacher beginning in the 2026-27 school year.  Head Girls’ Wrestling and other varsity assistant and JH coaching positions available.  Appropriate endorsement or a provisional certification is expected. Middle level endorsements will be strongly considered as well.  The district will consider other applicants who hold a teaching certificate and are willing to work toward appropriate endorsement. Other sponsorship is also available with this position. 

Substitute teaching  and paid student teacher opportunities for the spring semester of 2026 are available.

Additional Information

  • Pay is determined by the district’s salary schedule according to the negotiated agreement.  All years of experience are accepted, and full family health benefits are provided.
  • Incentive pay of one extra month’s salary is given as a bonus for coming to our district.
  • Start date will be in August of 2026
