6–12 Agriculture / Skilled & Technical Sciences Teacher – York Public Schools

York Public Schools is accepting applications for a 6–12 Agriculture / Skilled and Technical Sciences Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. We are seeking an enthusiastic, student-centered educator who is passionate about agricultural education, career and technical skill development, and preparing students for future success.

Position Details:

• Full-time, certified teaching position (Grades 6–12)
• 2026–2027 school year

Responsibilities Include:

• Delivering engaging instruction in agriculture and skilled/technical sciences courses
• Integrating hands-on learning experiences and real-world applications
• Supporting student leadership development through FFA and related activities
• Supervising agricultural projects and experiential learning opportunities
• Collaborating with staff, families, and community partners
• Maintaining accurate records and program documentation

Qualifications:

• Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain) with appropriate endorsement
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Commitment to student engagement and career readiness
• Experience with agricultural education and FFA preferred
