Wynot Public Schools is seeking applicants for an art teacher for the 2021-2022 school year.

We are a progressive and growing school district with a supportive community and a strong teaching staff.  Our students consistently score high on MAP, NWEA, and the ACT and in 2019 AQUEST rated both our Elementary and High School as “Excellent”.

Our school district is 1:1 with iPads, has well-maintained facilities with a 2.2 million dollar addition built in 2017, enjoys a modified 4 day school week, and has a calendar consisting of 172 staff days and 165 student contact days.

The village of Wynot is located in Northeast Nebraska close to many outdoor activities including camping, boating, fishing, and hunting.  We are also within close driving distance of many colleges and universities including several larger cities such as Yankton, Vermillion, Sioux City, and Norfolk.

Additional Information

Wynot Public School’s current base salary is 36,700 on a 4×5 salary schedule.  We pay full family Blue Cross/Blue Shield health benefits, single dental, and long-term disability.

Start date is on or around August 12th, 2021.
