6-12 Music Teacher (Band/Vocal)

Wood River Rural Middle/High School is accepting applications for a 6-12 Music Teacher for the 22-23 school year. Duties would be band and choir classes for grades 6-12, including marching band, pep band, and band/vocal concerts. All previous years teaching experience and master hours accepted while offering fully covered family health insurance among other benefits.  Base salary of $38,000 plus minimum of $8,500 in additional stipend pay, thus minimum of $46,500 for total salary. 

The Fine Arts Facilities are outstanding with a 460 seat Performing Arts Theater (click link for pictures)  Full time accompanist provided to support classroom and performances.  Brand new marching band uniforms.  Wood River Rural High School is a progressive 1:1 school. The community is very supportive of the school and the fine arts programs. Wood River Rural Middle/High School is a Class C school district located between the tri-cities of Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney. Yearlong access to community fitness center. A $5.5 million Water Park is located across from the school.
