7-12 Language Arts Teacher for 2025-26

Wheeler Central Schools is seeking an 7-12 Language Arts Teacher for the 2025-26 School Year.  Wheeler Central is located in North Central Nebraska 40 miles south of O’Neill and 70 mile north of Grand Island on Highway 281.  We are a growing school district that is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team.  Play Production and Speech coaching positions are available with this position.

Additional Information

$38,800 base salary with a 4.5 x 4.5 salary schedule.  We do honor all years of teaching experience and pay a $1500 signing bonus over 2 years.  Extra duty assignments available if interested.  Contact Superintendent Dan Kluver or Principal Makayla Reiter if you have any questions.
