DEFINITION

Coordinate, develop and facilitate dual enrollment with service area high schools and home-schooled youth. Assist with articulation agreements and memoranda of understanding (MOU) between WNCC and partnering secondary institutions. Work closely with WNCC departments, high school staff/faculty to recruit and provide student guidance for academic pathways and matriculation to WNCC. Collaborate with key WNCC and area high school offices and faculty for admission and registration of dual credit students.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING GUIDELINES

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.  A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.

Expe­ri­ence:

Three to five years of Community College Advising and/or High School Guidance Counselor Experience preferred.  Demonstrated knowledge of a comprehensive community college and concurrent enrollment preferred.

License or Certificate:

Possession of, or the ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record that does not exclude the driver from coverage under WNCC’s vehicle insurance.
