Special Education
Due to expansion, Wayne Community Schools, a progressive pk-12th school district in Northeast Nebraska, is currently seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Behavior Interventionist/Behavior teacher. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with families and staff to help meet the needs of all students while working with a progressive Special Education team.

Base salary was $40,100 for the 2024-25 school year, with all first and second year teaching hires starting on step 3 ($43,308) and is part of a comprehensive and extensive salary and benefit package. Wayne offers 5 paid onboarding days to all new staff members.
Start date is on or about August 7th.
