Wayne Community Schools, a progressive PK-12th grade school district in Northeast Nebraska, is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Elementary School Principal. This position provides instructional leadership for students and staff in grades Kindergarten – 6th. Successful candidates will be student-oriented, innovative, focused on academic achievement, versed in instructional leadership, curriculum, and school improvement, and be team oriented as part of the district administrative staff.
Other desirable attributes include the ability to communicate with students and parents, be involved in the community, and promote the success of all students by acting with fairness and integrity in an ethical and positive manner. Applicants must hold a Nebraska Administrative Certificate, or have eligibility to meet requirements to obtain certification. Applicants must have a minimum of five years of successful teaching experience.
Salary is negotiable and is part of a comprehensive, extensive, and competitive salary and benefit package. The position is a 10.5 month contract beginning on or about August 1, 2024. Wayne Community Schools is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
