Secondary Special Education Teacher

Walthill Public School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with students with diverse learning needs, designing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs) to help each student reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to provide a supportive learning environment.
• Use evidence-based teaching strategies and interventions to address academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by law and school policies.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and learning.
