School Nurse

At Walthill Public School, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and healthy learning environment for all our students. We are seeking a compassionate and qualified School Nurse to join our team and support the health and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to students, including first aid and emergency care.
• Develop and implement individualized health care plans for students with chronic conditions.
• Conduct health screenings and assessments, and maintain accurate health records.
• Educate students and staff on health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers to support student health needs.
• Manage medications and monitor students with ongoing health issues.
• Respond to health emergencies and coordinate care with local emergency services as needed.
• Participate in health promotion activities and programs within the school community.
