K-12 School Counselor

Walthill Public School is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated K-12 School Counselor to join our educational team. The School Counselor will play a vital role in fostering the academic, social, and emotional development of our students, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to support a positive and inclusive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students addressing academic, social, and emotional concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to identify students’ needs and create support plans.
• Assist students in setting and achieving academic and personal goals.
• Address behavioral issues through intervention strategies and conflict resolution.
• Support students with career exploration and post-secondary planning.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with school policies.
• Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and nurturing school environment.
