Speech-Language Pathologist
Wakefield Community Schools is seeking a full-time, dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services for students in grades PK–12 for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. The SLP will work as part of a supportive student services team to help students improve communication skills that are essential for academic and social success. Candidates must possess Nebraska teacher certification and endorsement in the area of Speech-Language Pathology. Responsibilities include the following:

Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs.

Develop and implement IEPs

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student learning and growth.

Provide both direct and consultative services across grade levels (PK–12).

Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations.

We offer a competitive salary schedule with a base salary of $42,750 in 2026-2027. All years of experience are accepted. Benefits include paid family health insurance (traditional or HSA), dental insurance, and life insurance. Vision insurance, long-term disability, and a 403b contribution program are available at the employee’s personal expense. Position is subject to veteran’s preference.
