Director of Student Services (including Special Education)

Wahoo Public Schools is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director of Student Services for the 2025-26 school year. Applicants expected duties may include:

  • Supervision of the special education program, along with the potential of other programs like HAL and ELL
  • On-campus working hours
  • Attend board of education meetings, as requested
  • Oversee special education staff, certificated and classified
  • Assist in completing federal, state, and local reports and applications
  • Assist in transportation coordination as it relates to special education
  • Work cooperatively as part of an administrative team

Additional Information

Requirements for the position:

  • Hold a Master’s Degree in administration
  • Hold or be eligible to hold a certificate in administration
  • Have successful experience in teaching and/or administration of special education

Contract:

  • 220-day contract
  • Begin on or around August 1, 2025
  • Report directly to the superintendent of schools
