Social-Emotional & Behavioral Learning (SEBL) Specialist

CYFS is seeking a Social-Emotional and Behavioral Learning (SEBL) Regional Specialist for work on Nebraska’s Multi-tiered System of Support (NeMTSS), a program funded by the Nebraska Department of Education that aims to empower schools to support and prepare all students for success by systematically delivering a range of high-quality instruction tailored to meet their needs. Responsibilities include:
• Provide SEBL (including universal, targeted, and intensive supports) consultation, training, and on-site implementation support services to school districts in the assigned region
• Provide SEBL professional development opportunities for school district and ESU staff and community professionals
• Work in close collaboration with the SEBL Statewide Lead to ensure all SEBL actives align with broader NeMTSS framework
• Work in close collaboration with NeMTSS Regional Support Leads to tailor training and supports to individual school needs
• Maintain a SEBL Resource Library with current publications related to the field of continuous improvement through a MTSS Framework.
• Stay informed of evidence-based instructional materials, strategies, interventions, assessments and technology for improved SEBL outcomes for ALL students.
• Be aware of new research and best practices around SEBL within Multi-tiered Systems of Support
• Maintain a service log to detail support provided
• Contribute to the enhancement of the NeMTSS Website
• Participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities at the state and national levels
