Superintendent of Schools – Tekamah-Herman Community Schools

Tekamah-Herman Community Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The district is located in Tekamah, in Eastern Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 536 students. The District has a growing, revitalized community near metro areas; new and renovated facilities with a Career Education Center; a young, vibrant, highly educated staff; and a school foundation supportive of post-secondary opportunities.

 

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education.  Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.   An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
