Curriculum & Assessment Coordinator

Syracuse-Dunbar-Avoca Public Schools, an “Excellent” rated district, is seeking a Curriculum & Assessment Coordinator to support instructional improvement and assessment coordination across the district. SDA is a supportive, student-centered school system with a strong culture of collaboration and high expectations for learning.

This position works closely with building principals and teaching staff to align curriculum, analyze student data, develop and support professional development, leading the school improvement process and coordinate state and district assessments. In addition, this position includes teaching middle school keyboarding classes for a portion of the school day.

Located in Syracuse, Nebraska, SDA offers the benefits of a close-knit school community with convenient access to the Lincoln and Omaha metro areas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred

• Valid Nebraska teaching certificate

• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Curriculum alignment and instructional support

• Coordination and administration of district and state assessments

• Data analysis to support student achievement

• Providing district-wide leadership for continuous school improvement efforts

• Professional development and instructional coaching

• Teaching assigned keyboarding classes
