Superintendent – Superior Public Schools

Superior Public Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of the Schools. The District is located in Superior in Southern Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 410 students. The District is financially solid; has strong and supportive staff; a cohesive and support school board; and a supportive community.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education.  Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.   An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
