Speech Language Pathologist

Summerland Public School currently has an opening for a Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2022-2023 school year. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with students’ educational team to develop and implement student-centered programs to support students’ needs. This position will be responsible for providing services and conducting IEP meetings for students ages birth to 21 of the school district in coordination with classroom teachers, parents, and administrators.

Candidates will be required to possess a Nebraska Teaching Certificate with a speech endorsement and such other endorsements as may be required by NDE Rules 10 and 24 or state licensure by the Nebraska Licensure Board.

Summerland is a newly formed district of the villages of Clearwater, Ewing, and Orchard. The district opened a $34.4 million state-of-the-art facility on August 30, 2021 serving approximately 420 students. The building is centrally located between the three communities at the intersection of the Clearwater-Orchard road and Summerland road.
