Special Education Teacher Grades 7-12 (24-25 school year)
St. Paul Public School is accepting applications for a full-time Secondary (7-12) Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Candidates must possess a valid teaching certificate with, or be willing to work toward, the appropriate special education endorsement. Experience preferred, but not required. Candidates must be skilled in using data to drive instructional decisions, have strong classroom management techniques, and a willingness to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of the requirements surrounding transition assessments and planning will be optimal. Qualified individuals should be willing to work collaboratively with general classroom teachers, parents, and paraprofessionals to provide the most rewarding educational experience possible for our students as they transition into adulthood. Collaborative teachers that can individualize instruction, motivate students of all ability levels, and provide programming for students of all ability levels are encouraged to apply for this position.

St. Paul is a Class C-1 school located approximately 24 miles north of Grand Island with approximately 322 students in grades 7-12. The district follows The Nebraska Framework accreditation process and is a member of the LouPlatte Conference. 2024-2025 base salary starts at $39,700, with up to 5 years of experience accepted. Full insurance premiums paid by the district, as well as single dental coverage (option 5). Full vision insurance is provided through VSP.
