Part time School Library Paraprofessional

St. Michael Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and flexible Part-Time Library Paraprofessional to support our school library. This position involves maintaining and organizing the library’s collection, assisting students and teachers, and coordinating the annual book fair.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the library’s collection of books and materials.
• Plan and manage the annual book fair.
• Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to support student learning.
• Assist students individually and in small groups with library resources.
• Accommodate requests from students and teachers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of computers and library systems.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to the needs of students and staff.
• Experience working in a school library preferred.
• A substitute teaching certificate is a plus.
