Prekindergarten/Kindergarten Combination Teacher

Duties and Responsibilities

The teacher is expected to plan, teach, and aid students in learning to the best of their abilities. This is done while also focusing on creating disciples of Jesus Christ through their faith. The teacher is to be a model in a positive school culture and provide the necessary accommodations or support for all learners. The staff member will work with the other teachers, students, and parents to achieve our goals.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The staff member will create a welcoming environment centered around the Catholic faith. The teacher will set high but realistic expectations for all students that meet the curriculum standards and align with school goals. It is important to be able to think quickly and problem-solve should a lesson need to be changed. Staff members must be willing to communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Being a team player within the small staff is essential. 

Education and Experience

A valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate is required.

Applicant must agree to a background check and be willing to be Safe Environment certified.
